Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return. This is in accordance with your legal right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Greek Law 2251/1994. You do not need to provide a reason for your return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You have the right to examine the product in the same way you would in a physical store (e.g., try on a garment to check fit), but use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product may result in a reduction of the refund amount.

To start a return, you can contact us at shop@syntaxidiotes.gr. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. The direct cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed.

You must return the product within 14 calendar days of notifying us of your withdrawal.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 2 business days if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In the case of defective or incorrect products, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at no charge to you. Under EU law, you are entitled to a legal guarantee of conformity for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
Sealed personal care goods that have been unsealed after delivery, where return is not possible for hygiene reasons
Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. In any case, refunds will be processed no later than 14 calendar days from the date we receive the returned product or proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at shop@syntaxidiotes.gr.
